FlutterPub is now CodeChai ☕
For the past year, me and my partner Danish Amjad have been running FlutterPub publication on the side with our lives. Although this year 2020 have been very hard and challenging due to Covid-19, but we are happy with the progress FlutterPub have made.
With over 13,000 followers and more than 12,000 views a day, this publication has got hundreds of awesome articles on Flutter by amazing writers around the world. But as time passed away, we realized that when there are more active publications about Flutter such as Flutter Community etc. then it doesn’t make sense to have other publication as well. This not only makes confusion for readers but also for writers, who have to decide which publication they want to put their articles in. This may increase competition, but we believe sharing knowledge should not be competitive. Rather it should be more encouraged and friendly.
So, here we are wrapping up the FlutterPub but also bringing a new platform for developers and writers. We think coffee/tea is a very heavy part of developers’ life and it works like a fuel to build beautiful software and write pragmatic code.
That’s why we are rebranding FlutterPub to a more open platform which is not only for Flutter developers. Instead this is everything about programming, coding, software development, tea, coffee, remote work, productivity and anything developers wants to write about and share with the world.
Chai (چائے) is the Urdu translation of word Tea. So, this brings our traditional desi flavor in the name and makes it relatable to the writers who are mostly developers. So, here we present you CodeChai (tea for the coders).
